This course has been specifically developed to bring preparers and users of financial statements up-to-date with recent developments in IFRS and US GAAP.

Update topics will inclide:

• Coverage of newly effective and newly issued IFRS/US GAAP pronouncments
• Recent amendments to existing standards, including otehr recent developments
• Guidance on how to implement the standards, using practical examples
• Examination of topics including revenue recognition, consolidation, private company financial reposting and the joint lease accounting projest

Learning Objectives:

To provide relevant updates to the IFRS and US GAAP accounting standards.

Who Should Attend:

This is a relatively generic topic so the course would be applicable to most accountants including but not exclusive to financial statement preparers, administrators, auditors, those charged with governance (Directors, Trustees etc.)
