Description/Overview

On December 22, 2017, the U.S. tax reform bill (H.R. 1) was signed into law by President Trump. This marks the most significant U.S. tax reform since 1986. The legislation was passed with unprecedented speed and professionals are in the process of interpreting and evaluating the impact these changes will have on the financial services industry in the Cayman Islands. This [2 hour] session will focus on the finalized provisions of the passed legislation relating to the financial service and insurance industries in the Cayman Islands. .

To be informed on the implications of the recently passed US Tax Reform Bill as it relates to the Cayman Islands financial service industry, insurance industry and U.S. individuals.
