Introduction to Data Analytics with Power BI

CIIPA is pleased to partner with CPA Canada for this two-hour session on An Introduction to Data Analytics with Microsoft Power BI

Overview:

Data Analytics applications are infiltrating businesses of all sizes at high speed, and this is largely being driven by a set of emerging tools that make developing such applications easy. This webinar provides a hands-on introduction to one such tool, Microsoft Power BI, which has been developed with Excel users in mind.

Key Learning Outcomes:

• Become familiar with the Power BI user interface
• Learn how to build powerful interactive dashboards with little effort

You do not need to be an IT specialist to learn it! This hands-on seminar will provide a good understanding of what Power BI can do for you and it will help you get started with your own projects. No previous knowledge regarding data analytics or Power BI is required.

All registered attendees will receive a pre-course email with materials and we encourage everyone to follow along with the instructor to get the most out of this session.

Featured Speaker: Guido L. Geerts, Ph.D.

Guido is a professor and Ernst & Young faculty scholar at the Lerner College of Business, University of Delaware, where he teaches accounting information systems and data analytics. Guido has received numerous awards for excellence in teaching, research, and service. He frequently presents data analytics and Power BI workshops to educators and practitioners.
